(More customer reviews)Was not like by son-in-law to whom this was a gift.Not flexible enough to move around and store in their small living quarters.Also, this mat exhuded strong "chemical" odor such that they did not want it within their small living quarters.

I am currently trying to return it.Have written and have had no response.I am not counting on Amazon to support me in this effort.
It has been over the 3-days, over a week, since I wrote the company.

(More customer reviews)I originally bought this mat to perform some light pilates exercises (part of the usual "New Year's Resolution" purchases one makes every year!), but after all this time of owning this mat, I am finding out that it has made my life so much easier.

I've had a big back/sciatic nerve problem for the majority of the past year, and this mat has saved me many additional aches and pains in my wrists/knees by protecting me from my thin rug and my hardwood floor.My physical therapy stretches are ten times more comfortable because of this mat, and I love that even in my cluttered/cramped apartment, I can find a corner to fold it up and tuck it away without it getting in the way.

The pilates routine may have stopped for the time being, but I'm still doing physical therapy stretches and am super happy about having this mat.After about a year of owning this and using it many times (even with heavy objects and with impact on the same areas), it looks brand new and hasn't shown any wear in the foam or the covering.I've no doubt that unless I take a sharp object to this thing and slash it myself, this mat will last many more years.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this cloth mat after buying and returning a Durafoam mat because it smelled strongly of rubber and chemicals. I am much happier with this mat. It doesn't smell weird at all and it has a nice thick cushion for doing abs work on a hardwood floor. It's also pretty long and the ends don't curl up. The cover can be unzipped and washed in the laundry.

(More customer reviews)When I purchased this, it wasn't obvious that it is the Fitline 140.I decided to take a chance and purchase it anyway.I'm so glad I did, b/c it IS the Airex Fitline 140.I paid $45 for it.I'm not sure what it'll be listed for at the time you're considering this purchase.hopefully the same or less.
Anyway, my physical therapist had recommended the Airex brand, saying that it's one of the best.
I am not using it as a yoga mat.I use it as an exercise mat.
I like that it's cushy b/c I want to be as comfortable as possible when I'm doing sit-ups, but it kinda smells of sweat which is gross.I only perspired on it once, and wiped it down, but it still smells 3 weeks later...that's the reason for 4 stars.I would've given it 5 stars if it didn't smell.

(More customer reviews)I've had this mat for about one month. I use it daily, mainly for exercising. So far its been great. Its very cushiony. It really absorbs the shock of my jumping around from cardio exercise. I always hated doing any type of exercise that involved me laying on the floor (i.e. crunches), but this mat has taken the pain out of that stuff. I have used it to lay on the floor and nap as well without hurting my back. The vinyl is really easy to clean. It usually doesn't take much effort. I like the color too. My first issue with this mat is that it already has a tear in it. I am not sure how the tear got there, but tearing after a few days (less than a week) makes me question the durability of the mat. My second issue is that it doesn't stay folded when I store it. It would just unfold and after a few weeks it began wilting. Its pretty big so storing it has become an issue itself. It takes up too much room to lay it down folded and it wilts unless something is next to it. I don't want to put anything next to it that might tear it more. Considering the price and the benefits of having an extra thick mat, I still love the mat and probably would purchase it again when this one needs to be replaced.

The quality could be better: one of the zippers came off the next day, and it does have a bit strong smell. (More customer reviews)My mat arrived and indeed, it doesn't smell vinyl-y like most of the mats out there.The vinyl ones are probably more sanitary for use by multiple people, but for one-person use, I appreciate not having the stinky off-gassing and being able to just put a towel over the mat if desired for keeping it cleaner.(The roll-up yoga mats are an option too, but this is nice because you can fold it up and lean it against a wall).

A note: I wouldn't recommend this as a guest bed/mattress-- just as an exercise mat as advertised-- because the foam is too firm and sort of crunchy-feeling for that use.
