I've read several reviews for other mat slings complaining about the straps not being long enough to wrap around their mat because there isn't enough velcro lining on the straps. This sling has NO velcro but is adjustable through a metal ring. The shoulder strap, though, is adjustable via velcro which creates some extra padding. The clip-on pouch is the best.
