The pile of the fleece is not as plush and the nylon is noisy, but would be better for outdoor use. Great value for the price.

Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Sleeping Pad Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Large pad along with the Big Agnes Hog Park sleeping bag, as I'm well over 200 lbs. The Hog Park is rated for 20 degrees. I also have the 40 degree Buffalo Park bag for warmer weather. The pack size of between the two is significant. However, the Hog Park compacts to 10 x 19 and the sleeping bag just barely stuffs in the stuff sack...great job at making the sack as small is needed Big Agnes.

The 40 degree Buffalo Park compacts much smaller that the Hog Park sleeping bag...but, it is only a 40 degree bag. So, buy accordingly.

The pad fits absolutely perfect into the sleeping bag slot..perfect. There's even a cutout in the back for the air valve...great system.

Now, to the pad. True, you have to blow it up. No biggie and I am willing to do that to get a couple more inches off the ground, as apposed to the Therma-Rest units, which are 1.5" thick at the most. I'm a side sleeper and 1.5" ain't going to cut it.

I've already tested the Big Agnes pad and I find it's most comfortable to NOT fully inflate it. The best I find is about 80% and this makes for a softer feel. I also believe this will preserve the mattress's longevity, as it's not being strained by being fully inflated with a person on top. Just my opinion.

I'm a big guy and the Big Agnes pad and sleeping bag system is the way to go. I am VERY happy with the room to move around and the comfort of the pad being sufficiently high enough off of the ground to isolate me from ground bumps and whatnot.

The pad also packs very small and it's very light, comparable to the competition...

It's a winner

Coleman Forester Folding Cot Review

(More customer reviews)The cot is comfortable, light, easy to set up but it is so noisy that it will keep everybody awake. I took two of these cots for a weekend in a remote cabin. Two adults used the cots. Every time one of the cot users rolled over or moved, the cot made so much noise that it woke up people two rooms away (okay, the walls were thin too). The fabric is wrapped around the metal tubes and makes a loud creaking noise as it rubs on the tube. The noise was so loud that we laughed about it all weekend but did not sleep on the cots after the first night.

(More customer reviews)I just received this, a "just for fun" purchase. The quality - as a large piece of cloth - is OK, and as a big cloth wall map it will have a use. But "beach blanket" it isn't, more of a "beach sheet". OK, you could pack it and wrap it around you to keep off the sun or keep out the wind, even maybe sit on it (providing the ground is not abrasive). Just as well it really was "just for fun" because at $25 it is over-priced.

Big Agnes Clearview Air Pad Mummy Sleeping Pad Review

(More customer reviews)THE SKINNY: After throwing lots of money to the wind with self-inflating mats, I decided to try this one. The best ever. It's light, provides two and a half inches of padding and compresses into a tiny, tiny space. Also, being elevated off the ground, allows you to stay warmer, meaning you can pack a lighter sleeping bag. The ridges not only provide comfortable compression, but also lessen the internal volume of the pad, meaning it doesn't take very many breaths to fill. It usually take me about 30 seconds to casually inflate. Also, it has a blow-off valve to prevent it from popping. It simply leaks a little bit of air if you flop on it too hard. (I weigh 220 lbs, and it only does that if I'm not thinking and just flop down to go to sleep).

PROS:

Super lightweight (10 oz.)
Comfortable

CONS:

If you toss and turn a lot, it is a bit noisy.

BOTTOM LINE: Recommendable to anyone looking for comfortable sleep hiking or camping.

(More customer reviews)We bought this pad for our 2YO girl to go with her little sleeping bag with hopes of getting our kids to camp in the backyard with us.As with buying anything online it's a bit hard to know exactly what it will be like but we figured it would work well enough.The pad is made of the eggshell style foam which will be fine for the kids while they are still a bit too young to really backpack with us.These guys do not pack up all that compact and thus would be harder for a young backpacker to strap on a backpack all that well but are great for use in the backyard or car camping.I guess I was hoping for something a bit more compact but am none-the-less happy with it as it is more than comfortable enough for what it will be used for.The construction of the unit seems solid and I do like the built-in straps for storage.

1. Very Sturdy.
2. If you need to move the beds the legs fold up and you can carry them like a folding table.
3. A complete idiot can put these together. I am not mechanically inclined and usually end up confused with directions on how to assemble things. I had these up in minutes.
4. You are getting two beds and the mattresses in the package. If you want to stack them, the adaptors are sold separately.
5. I had no problem using normal twin sized fitted sheets on the mattresses.
6. If the person using the bed is heavier and needs more padding on the mattress, an egg crate works well.
