(More customer reviews)I needed something large enough to ice my back or shoulder. It started out great and I was careful when returning or removing from freezer. After just a few uses, I noticed water literally running off the mat. Several square sections over the past uses have just lost their liquid. No obvious damage or tear, it has just leaked out.The smaller one for elbow or ankle is doing the same thing. I am going to complain to company.

Icy Cools Hot/Cold mats are manufactured in the USA in our facility in Roosevelt, NJ. All of our products feature Safe, Purified water. The water is treated using 10um and 1um filters to remove particulates,a deionization system to remove dissolved minerals, a UV light to kill any bacteria and copper or chlorine to insure product safety. The water is placed into a 1,000 liter tank which is lot coded and randomly tested at a laboratory to insure product safety.By using only water and food safe additives, we can insure that any punctures of the product will not result in product contamination or staining of the coolers and containers.
