(More customer reviews)I purchased this mat about 6 months ago. I practice on it at least once a week. I have not had the 'wearing out' trouble that some others mentioned. Instead, when I roll it out it truly becomes my magic carpet. The thickness is so wonderful on your knees and other joints. I agree there is a natural rubber smell. This abates over time to a degree, and of course if you leave it wound up tightly it will preserve the smell longer. I also agree that the main problem with this mat is that it has a major static attraction to dust, hair, etc. that is on the floor. It hasn't been a major problem but it is something I notice with this mat more so than other mats.
